frustrating....

Pfff, I've been dealing with super intense hormones today. I've been crying all day and it just won't stop.... Tomorrow I'll be 39 weeks, and even from the start of my pregnancy there were signs that our baby might be born early. I even had to lie flat on my stomach before 37 weeks, and last Monday I was already 3 cm dilated, and the OB-GYN also thought something was 'brewing'... After some very painful contractions, my little guy is still safely tucked in my belly. Don't get me wrong, he's doing great in there and I'm happy for the extra days he gets because it can only be good for him, but I find it so frustrating. After all those messages saying he'd be born earlier than the due date, there are now no signs of him coming. You prepare yourself for that due date, you factor in that he might be 10 days overdue, but you don't plan for that, and today my hormones decide otherwise and I feel really awful pffff...
Big hugs to everyone who also sometimes struggles with their hormones and can't do anything about it!!!

    I’m with you. Strength for the last days. He knows how it can be.

    I've been through the same thing here and know how frustrating it is. It got me worked up. Try not to dwell on it too much. Relax. (I know that's easier said than done.) If you're too focused on it, you're unconsciously holding it back.

    I’m with you too. Strength for the last days, I totally get it. You hope so much that it’ll come a bit earlier—but unfortunately, you can’t control it. With my first, I was 1 day late, my second son was 8 days late, and my third son was 3 days early. Now I’m 23 weeks pregnant. Good luck with the birth! I hope your little prince is born soon. ;-)

    Thanks everyone, that's so sweet of you Meanwhile, we're still out and about with that little bump On Monday, the gynecologist said it's likely to happen this week, but we're not counting on it anymore Tomorrow I'll be 40 weeks and my little guy has really done his best to hold on until then!
