I was induced 3 weeks early for both of my kids.
Got an IV and oxytocin to stimulate contractions.
Touching didn’t help me at all, so they used the IV to kick things into gear.
I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it—having all the help available was great. The first one took about 24 hours in total, and the second one only took 4 hours. I don’t remember much about the second one because it went so fast.

I gave birth to my first princess 2 weeks early, and it went smoothly for a first-time mom. According to the midwife, I first had contractions, then bleeding, and then my water broke suddenly. It felt very warm and strange. I was in the hospital for 4 hours, pushed 3 times, and she was born.

The second one went even faster; I hadn't expected that. Because I was already 8 cm dilated, the contractions were painful, but I could still handle them. It was like shooting an arrow.

Then I went to the hospital because I almost gave birth in the car. I had a strong urge to push, which was scary. I barely managed to hold it back.

Once I arrived at the hospital, I lay down. The midwife wanted me to wait, but I said no, I was almost giving birth in the car. I need to push now. She checked and was surprised. Yes, you're absolutely right, you're already 10 cm dilated, push now.

After 2 pushes, she was born.

That's how it went with my two births. I had severe back pain with both, more back contractions than abdominal ones.

    Greetings, Madelene
