I think you can just make it clear to your friend that sex is important to you, even now.

Well, I wouldn't say this is hugely important to me... but sometimes I get the feeling—and I don't think I'm the only pregnant woman who feels this way—that I'm losing my attractiveness to him...!!
And if he also doesn't feel like it anymore, well, that doesn't help, obviously...
When I bring that up, it's really because he's also scared that something might happen already...
That's why I'm wondering when it's really best to stop having sex... That way my boyfriend feels a bit more at ease..?!

well maybe your boyfriend is afraid it won't work because of the baby, that's something a lot of men feel.
but it's totally fine, it can't hurt.
and not more attractive, I think it's actually really beautiful for a man because then a woman is at her most feminine.
and also a lovely idea, she's carrying his child, I think that's really special for a man.
I myself found that my husband found me even more attractive when I was pregnant.

And explain to your friend that it won't do any harm during pregnancy.
What is true is that if you're close to your due date, having sex can kickstart labor.
That's what happened with my youngest.

Here it's actually the opposite, it scares him off... even with the stretch marks and all, he's been really jumpy... he just can't get used to it... I've also said that I'm still getting used to it too, going from a flat, smooth belly to a very round one, and yeah, with stretch marks, but you don't really choose for that, do you? No matter how much I rubbed, I couldn't prevent it... and I notice especially that the bare skin and seeing the stretch marks really startle him... well, I do hear that more men have that and stuff... and they also act braver and tougher than they really are... (he's 30 years old) maybe that's why he's a bit like that, I don't know... it was also an unexpected pregnancy, maybe that's why he can't get used to the idea either... men can be such difficult talkers sometimes e

I had to go to the hospital the day before yesterday because I lost some bloody mucus... but they said that's because the cervix is softening... and they said I've only had a fingertip opening so far... though I already have some mild contractions...

Inducing labor is really only possible if your body is already ready for birth. Then it’s basically the final push (pun intended ) and you’ll probably be looking forward to the birth—or rather, to the end of your pregnancy and holding your little one in your arms. At 35 weeks, there’s nothing wrong with that, unless your midwife/gynecologist says otherwise in your specific case.

Also, be careful with sex if your water has already broken at the end of your pregnancy. Then you shouldn’t put anything into the vagina (not even fingers) due to the risk of infection.
