fluid bubbles/pops from the vagina

Hi mamas,

Quick question: I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant with our first baby, a girl (hasn't dropped yet). For the past 2 days, I've been having these popping/bubbling sensations from my vagina. Has anyone else experienced this before? Is this the start of labor or could my waters have broken? I've also suddenly started getting back pain and some cramps (not too severe) in my stomach.

I'd love to hear your experiences with this.

    Just call the midwife. I never had this during my pregnancies.

    Don't think this is the beginning. I've had 4 myself and it doesn't sound familiar.

    I had a popping sensation from 13 weeks, and it just got stronger. It's probably the uterus pushing on the cervix, causing that popping feeling. It could be because air sometimes gets trapped in the cervix and then escapes. The pops aren't too bad It just feels really weird. For the pain, I'd call the midwife or gynecologist.
