Hi D.C.B&G, so glad you didn’t have any issues. That’s wonderful! How did the induction go for you? Ahh, cute to have a little one who’s 10 weeks old, so sweet! Yesterday I had to go to the hospital unexpectedly because I couldn’t feel the baby anymore, and luckily everything was fine. It was true that I couldn’t feel her (that sometimes happens) and that she’s been calmer than before.. The nurse said that feels really strange. Today she’s happily kicking again. They also saw that she was in breech position yesterday and that I was having contractions.. I’m exactly 32 weeks now. So still 8 or 9 weeks to go. -

Hey Callie, it's nice to just let it all out and be clear about it... I really like that!! So you really want to be pregnant... How long have you been trying, if I may ask? Exciting every month! X -

I'm currently 38+2 weeks and really fed up.
I've also been put on bed rest due to the baby's growth and weight.
Normally, I'm scheduled for a C-section next Wednesday because it's a breech, but now Mr. Baby is trying really hard to turn.
I'm not sure what they're thinking—whether they'll still go ahead with the C-section or not. He's currently on his second attempt to turn, which has been going on for several days, but he's not managing it; he keeps turning back. I think there's not enough space.
And I really want to hold and cuddle my little boy in my arms. So I'm really at my wit's end. -

I'm so fed up with trying to get pregnant and it not working!! What's wrong with me and my partner?!? We've been at it for 10 months now and still nothing.
It makes me feel incredibly desperate and emotional!! F*CKING $#@!
So that's out of my system, SIGH!.
You're probably going crazy at home too, Eline, if you can't do or have anything and are in so much pain. I understand why you started that topic. It's all so frustrating. The fact that I can't get pregnant and it's taking so long is also really frustrating, ugh!.
Love, Dame -

Hi there, yes, I totally get it!! How unfair.. Really hard to believe. And so frustrating indeed.. If I had an answer for you, I could help you.. I hope for a miracle for you and your partner! It does help to let it out for a bit, right!? I do get a bit crazy from it too, but I remind myself of what others go through and then I think.. I shouldn't complain so much.. Sounds very ungrateful maybe.. But that's not me! I really feel for you! And if anything comes up.. You can share it here with me/us. Love, Elien -

Currently quite sore from muscle pain in my thighs, my lower back keeps cracking every time I do something, and lots of hard contractions.
I've been prescribed bed rest since 30 weeks. So I watch TV, read a book, or annoy myself all day long.
Let everything come to me a bit now and try to enjoy the last few days of "rest" ;-)
And on Tuesday evening we'll see, I'm getting a very detailed explanation about how and what, and on Wednesday we're three. -

Hi Romy, that’s really not nice at all!! Okay, I’m doing that during the day too, there’s not much more I can do. Such exciting days for you.. Tomorrow you’ll get to cuddle your little man
. Wish you all the best, lots of luck, love & health! Love, Elien -

It's only round 1, but still. I've had the feeling for a long time that I should be pregnant, but my husband wasn't ready to try yet. Now he is, and we finally stopped the pill last month. That makes it seem like we've been trying for much longer. Wanting it so badly but not being able to have it is tough... I even found it hard when I saw pregnant women

Hi Eline... oh, just hang in there a bit more
before you know it, he or she will already be 10 weeks old. It goes by so fast. My labor was induced with an IV drip and oxytocin, and then off we went haha. At that point, I was already 2 cm dilated, and it took another 9 hours in total... including 1 hour of pushing pfff -

Claudia,
you know what? Reading what you wrote really cheered me up, considering all my own ailments (most of which you've already described). There are some people who show understanding, but there's also a huge lack of it. My boss literally said I should be happy that I'm pregnant and that I should laugh about it. OMG, of course I'm happy, especially since our girl is doing well. But when you've been struggling since week 7, people just don't get it. I had weeks of bleeding, massive pain all over my body, and was incredibly tired. Hemorrhoids, even more pain, and I'm just exhausted and done. I already have a daughter whose pregnancy was so different, so much easier. Now, I just can't do anything; it's all just not working anymore. One more small week of working 3x3 hours, and then finally leave. Just do nothing, everything is allowed. (Except taking care of my other daughter, of course, hihi). Can't wait. -

Indeed, people don't really understand that. I wish you lots of strength for the final stretch! I was induced last week and can now look at my beautiful daughter and I doubly understand the meaning of the word Enjoying! Good luck, girl, and hang in there. -

ahh congratulations. super, indeed, it's only when the little one is out of your belly that you really start enjoying it. Especially when it's so heavy. Now I have to say that I enjoyed my last pregnancy more than this one. Hope for an "easier" delivery now haha -

I’m also being induced at 39 weeks due to a difficult pregnancy (severe pelvic instability).. It’s scheduled for Feb 25th.. I barely sleep at all, and I’ve been on sick leave since my 18th week of pregnancy.. I’ve had several hospital admissions. My little one is doing super well.. Weight and length are around average.. It’s just my body that can’t take it anymore.. Last Friday, my GP referred me to the hospital for a consultation about induction.. Unfortunately, because baby is doing well, they won’t induce earlier than 39 weeks.. What they can do is strip the membranes.. Some women find that uncomfortable, and it doesn’t necessarily guarantee labor, but the more dilation there is before induction, the better.. I’m not really scared of induction, but I’m hoping it’ll be successful.. And induction isn’t that tough either.. You might have contractions storms and your labor might take longer than usual.. But hey, what is normal anyway?? Bring up membrane stripping first, maybe you’ll have success!
Good luck! -

Hi there, I gave birth to my little girl on February 1st... On January 31st, they induced labor because I had fairly high blood pressure and was sometimes seeing light flashes along with severe headaches. The birth went surprisingly well for me. At 9 PM, my water broke, and at 9:30 PM, I was rushed to the delivery room with 4 cm dilation. By 1:38 AM, I was fully dilated at 10 cm and could start pushing, which took me 25 minutes. She was born at 2:03 AM. The placenta came right after, within just one contraction, not half an hour or an hour like they sometimes do! Suturing was done immediately too! So by 2:35 AM, I was all done, and they left us alone. However, halfway through, I asked for remifentanil because I was getting pain and starting to feel tired. Later, it turned out this wasn’t unusual because I had a lot of contractions close together, and they were very strong... It was the well-known contraction storm, but I really, truly DIDN’T experience it that way. Only medication tablets were used to induce dilation and contractions, so no IV, gel, or anything else. And the hospital only allows a maximum of 3 days stay, and you think, phew, staying so long in the hospital... I arrived at the hospital on January 31st at 8:00 AM, and by February 1st at 2:30 PM, I was already outside again! I was supposed to leave at 10:00 AM, but because the baby’s temperature wasn’t cooperating right away, it ended up being 2:30 PM. Love, Eline -

Hi hi, I just want to vent a bit too.. I've been at home since 22 weeks (now 34 weeks) due to high blood pressure and my pelvis.. and especially that pelvic pain is getting worse every day.. I'm in more and more pain, and just going to a shop to buy a little gift is already too much.. afterwards I'm on the couch in pain.. can't sleep at night because turning over hurts, and so on.. I still have a little boy of 2 at home, and that's quite hard too, so he can watch a bit more TV now so he doesn't cling to mama so much.. This pregnancy has been quite tough so far due to the sudden passing of my father.. the lack of understanding from my colleagues and boss.. I'm normally a stable person, but at those times I was like a little girl trying to act tough until I broke down.. Now I can wait a few more weeks for my daughter, who is also still stubbornly in breech.. My previous birth went smoothly, but I lost 3 liters of blood and it was stopped with the help of a balloon inserted in the OR.. I am a bit nervous now for this birth.. Of course I hope everything goes well and it all turns out okay.. Just needed to get it off my chest.. -

Fadila, yes, I've noticed that too... Out of my girls' group, 15 out of 24 have this issue. Quite a lot. -
