Hi!
Are there any mamas here who are at the end of their pregnancy, or who, like me, are already overdue? How do you get through these days without losing your minds?
Greetings!

I made a plaster belly using one of those DIY kits. It turned out really beautiful, and I'm now sticking tiny little mirror mosaics all over it. It's quite a job, but it keeps me nicely occupied.

I'm also really enjoying having a clean house, so I'm doing extra cleaning even though it's not necessary. Just taking it easy like that, I find it a nice activity too.

I am fed up, but I'm not trying to get under anyone's skin. Are you bored, or do you also have a lot of discomfort? Because I can imagine that if you're feeling unwell, nothing can help you relax.

Good luck, and let's hope we can hold our baby in our arms by tomorrow at the latest! (I say that every day... haha)

    Hi Indy,

I've got something to look forward to; I'm being induced on Friday after 6 days overdue. The OB-GYN let me choose between Friday or next Tuesday. I know a lot of people go up to 10 days overdue or even longer as long as the baby is fine. But I'm sleeping very little and the baby is already estimated to be 3.6 kg. I also have a lot of swelling in my legs, which makes me less mobile.

Today and tomorrow I'll try to rest as much as possible. Because once tomorrow evening gets closer, I'll probably become even more anxious.

How far along are you? Wow, how lovely with the mosaic pictures. Lots of admiration. I'm not exactly handy Harry

I hope you get to hold your baby soon!

That's nice that they're willing to work with you.
The hospital here wants to wait until 1 week and 3 days overdue before inducing. I'm only 2 days overdue now, but it feels like way too late!
On Monday, the midwife did a sweep and she's coming again later to do another one. Hopefully it works.
Wishing you lots of success on Friday, but I hope it happens earlier and naturally by then!

    So exciting!
Had quite a bit of contractions today. But nothing definitive.
Went back to the OB-GYN this afternoon for an ultrasound and CTG. Normally you have to wait 10 days past your due date for that. But since I'm barely sleeping anymore and expecting a baby that weighs around 3.5 kg, they let me come in earlier
    Wishing you lots of success!

    Thanks, girls.
17 weeks pregnant, have you given birth already, induced, or spontaneous? How are you doing?
I've had contractions since this morning, so it's coming!!!

Oh Indy, that's going to be exciting! Hopefully it kicks in soon. I still remember that feeling myself... I was like YESS, I've waited so long for this!

Good luck with the birth! <

My handsome boy was born the next morning!!
I was really scared but didn't panic like I thought I would beforehand.
I'm so glad it's over now and what a sweet little boy I've got!
17 weeks pregnant, how are you doing??
