Enough clothes for the baby?

Hi!

I'm exactly 27 weeks pregnant with our first baby tomorrow!
And I'm trying to prepare as well as I can!

But I'm wondering if I have enough clothes for the baby!

Here's what I have:

Size 50/56:

14x short-sleeved romper
1x short-sleeved t-shirt
2x long-sleeved t-shirt
1x sleepsuit
1x pajamas
1x shirt

Size 62:

2x short-sleeved romper
4x long-sleeved romper
6x long-sleeved t-shirt
4x sleepsuit
4x pants
1x shirt
1x vest

Is this enough or am I missing something??

I'm really looking forward to your replies!

Love, Amalita!

Our little boy started out in size 50, then moved to 56. Now he’s almost 3 months old and wears 62/68 tops and often 56 trousers.

    Here’s what I bought:

    - Long/short sleeve onesies
    - Cute combo suits (6)
    - A few pairs of pants and shirts
    - Long-sleeve tops
    - Socks

I went for mostly neutral colors since we didn’t know what gender we’d have.

Tip: Buy more in sizes 50/65. You’ll often get clothes in 62/68 or larger as baby shower gifts, which won’t fit yet. In our case, those are summer clothes, so they’re not very useful in autumn/winter.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely do that!

I also had too many 50s and too few 62s. Luckily, Irma's tip is worth its weight in gold. You often get items from maternity care nurses or family members who no longer need those sizes. Have you already reached out to a maternity care nurse or the child health clinic? You won't get stuck with that first weekly size change.
