Washing baby clothes

Big congratulations!

Yeah, it's best to wash the baby clothes with neutral detergent. Otherwise, there's a risk of irritation.

    Congratulations!
Honestly, I'd definitely wash everything because everyone in the store has handled it, and you never know if those people are clean or not. For the first clothes, I used the sample from the first box you get from the midwife at La Chat, good stuff!!
    Good luck in advance.

and don't worry about color fading or anything like that. Just wash it at 30 degrees, turn everything inside out, and let it dry on a drying rack. That way, nothing bad will happen. I always wash my little girl's clothes like this, mixing all the colors together, and I sometimes add a color catcher bag to prevent the colors from bleeding, especially the first time :-)

    Hi dear girl,

A baby has very sensitive skin, they get irritated quickly.

Stefanie.B says that in the store everyone touched the clothes, that's true, sometimes those clothes are just on the floor, or before they even arrived at the store we don't know in what conditions they were!....

I use, like Stefanie.B, Le Chat baby laundry detergent (with Marseille soap) and also the Le Chat fabric softener (green bottle) smells wonderful and all doctors also recommend that laundry detergent.

You change baby clothes every day, so there's always laundry.. so far the clothes have never shrunk or anything like that!

    Bye

It's better to wash the clothes...

This is because of the chemicals they contain. Also, when you iron them, you heat them up even more. Because actually, washing at more than 70 degrees is when you really heat them up properly. But yeah... nobody washes their baby clothes at 70 or more. That's why the advice is to iron them.

I also did a boil wash first before putting the clothes in the washing machine and washing them. More for my own peace of mind. Good for your washing machine anyway.

I did everything around 36 weeks... And hung them nicely in the sun. I wanted to have everything done by 37 weeks... The nesting instinct is amazing.. haha

    Good luck!!!!
