Stinging, pulling sensation in the navel

I have a question: has anyone else experienced really painful stabbing/tugging sensations in the navel? I'm now 36 weeks and have this quite often in combination with tight contractions.

Hi mom-to-be, I don't recognize that pulling feeling/sharp stabs in my belly button. But I can imagine you can feel quite a bit there with a hard belly. Have you ever asked your partner about it? -

Yeah, she says that's normal, so it doesn't help much. I still have to go to the gynecologist on Wednesday, and I'll ask her about it again. I'm really scared that it's the internal scar from my previous C-section. -

I have that too. Some days more than others, so I don't worry too much about it. -

I have that too in a spot right next to my navel; when I rub over it, it becomes less sensitive.
