Baby gets restless

Good morning ladies,
I'm almost there, just a few more days and hopefully then it's time. The baby has fully engaged and is positioned well.
Only, the baby has been quite calm throughout my pregnancy but not anymore now. I really feel her kicking and it seems like she's trying to turn. As if she thinks she's not in the right position herself.
Has anyone experienced this before? I find it so strange.
