Hi everyone!! I'm almost 31 weeks now and I'm enjoying it more and more every day since we can really count down.. Everything is going super.. Baby is growing well and I have a lot of movement!! I've already gained 11kg but I still have a little belly! My navel is already starting to pop and you can obviously see it well but everyone thinks I'm only 20-24 weeks pregnant! A friend of mine is now 13 weeks and has my belly when I was 23 weeks.. At the hospital during info evenings I also notice that I have a small belly. Could this be bad? I'm naturally quite slim.. I weighed 59kg before the pregnancy.. Xx

    Hi Sophie 2p,

No worries, the first one just grows faster than the other, so be happy... whatever you don't gain during pregnancy, you don't need to lose afterwards either. You'll probably be slim again soon after your pregnancy, hehe.

I'm not chubby myself either, but with my first, I weighed 60 kg at the beginning and 80 kg at the end, so it doesn't mean much. I did lose it all though... Now I'm pregnant with the second one, 17 weeks along, and I've already gained 3 kg and have a belly just like when I was 20 weeks pregnant with my son, who's almost 6 now, and still no stretch marks..... so it all means nothing.

The first one gets a huge belly and the other doesn't.

    Greetings DCB and Suprice

    Here’s a little tummy too.
I’m now 32+4 weeks pregnant. With this weather, people don’t notice I’m pregnant when I’m wearing a jacket. And especially not when I tell them I’m already 32 weeks pregnant. Only if you look closely at my weight gain would you notice it, haha. As long as the baby is growing well and has enough space, there’s nothing to worry about. Had a check-up today, and next Friday we’re having a growth ultrasound to see if the little one is still doing well. Don’t worry, girl, every woman is different! Just enjoy it!

My belly suddenly grew really big from 30 weeks onwards! And the weight started piling on too. I've gained 17 kilos now and I'm 39 weeks pregnant. As long as the baby is growing well, it doesn't matter, right? Just enjoy it for now! ;-)

The most important thing is that your uterus is growing well. If that's on track, the size of your belly doesn't matter much. Your midwife will surely check the height of your uterus regularly by feeling it.

Advantage of a small belly; less chance of devastating stretch marks all around and a saggy tea bag after birth . The baby can still come out at 8 pounds, you know! Whether you want that or not... hihi

I was quite chubby during my first pregnancy.. gained 20 kilos and now I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my second, already gained 6 kilos and have a decent belly, but hey, not a small baby, hehe. First one was a boy, above average, 3 weeks premature, 7.5 pounds and 50 cm.. see photo below of my first son!!.... and now we're having another boy above average haha and built like dad... handsome, broad, big guy with sturdy bones, but not chubby.
And mom still no stretch marks.. saggy belly and teabags despite big bellies and breastshahaha..so basically says nothing, I think you need to have the predisposition for it!!s6 further all

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I also only have a small belly. The funny thing is, with some clothes it looks like it's a bit bigger than other times. When I tell people I'm 30 weeks pregnant, they get startled. Sometimes I find it a bit annoying, but as long as my little girl is healthy. The doctor only felt her last time and probably thought my belly and baby were a bit too small. I'm getting a growth ultrasound tomorrow because they don't know what's causing it. I hope everything turns out okay and that she's just a little small. My partner and I aren't exactly very tall either. So we'll just have to wait until tomorrow. Luckily, I feel her kicking every day, especially in my ribs. haha

Here I am now, 34 weeks pregnant, and our little man is growing well.. we hope to meet our little one in a few more weeks

Same story here! Today 35 weeks and the belly is really modest. While the ultrasounds show that the baby is 2 weeks ahead in growth! It's very low, the whole pregnancy, which also helps with the appearance!

Nice big belly, I quite like that.

I also have a small belly. I'm 31 weeks pregnant too. It's my first. The OB says my boy is small, but the amniotic fluid and everything else is fine. I am a bit worried though! I now weigh 74.3 kg. I started at 62 kg. I'm 1.62 m tall. Short.

I'm 29 weeks and 3 days and don't really have a big belly either. I have a little bump, but nothing super huge. Baby is doing well – I had a check-up 2 weeks ago and he weighed exactly 1 kilo then. I've gained 7 kilos so far, feel good, and everything is going well. It's just that sometimes people make comments like, "Oh, your belly is small, are you eating enough?" Such stupid remarks. But baby is doing well, and that's what matters. According to the midwife, he probably won't get super heavy and will have a lean little belly. So I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm now pregnant for the third time, and I had small bellies during my previous two pregnancies too. They didn't check what caused it, but from week 30 they checked every two weeks to see if there was enough amniotic fluid. I'm now 30 weeks pregnant and my belly is just as small again, and I'm also afraid they'll start nagging again, but it's all for the sake of health.

    I'm 29 weeks and 5 days.
I don't really have a big belly either. Our girl is on the small side though. I've been going to the hospital to keep everything in check. They recently checked the placenta and it was fine, and there's plenty of amniotic fluid. On Thursday, there's another extra growth scan.
My husband and I are both not very tall. I'm 1.59...
