brown discharge

Hi everyone, I'm now 40 weeks pregnant and have had quite a bit of brownish discharge since today. I'm wondering what it is—have you experienced this too?

    Could it be that the mucus plug is dissolving? If you're worried, call your midwife.

    hey mama3 yeah that could be true indeed if it stays that way i'll give them a call found it really weird

    hey mama3, no luckily not anymore so i don't know what it was but luckily it's gone now, maybe it has something to do with the mucus plug. how are you doing with your pregnancy? do you have a lot of discomfort already?

    hey mama3 yeah it's not so nice being tired and stuff and especially that nausea is really tough but luckily you're past that now yeah it would be nice to have a boy if you already have 2 girls but yeah everything is welcome of course, yeah this is my first baby so I find it all super exciting I was due on Tuesday already but she's still doing well I think I'm starting to get some cramps more often now and back pain but there's still a lot of time between them so I think it'll still be a while I have to go to the midwife again on Tuesday if she's not here yet and then they'll see if they can induce me somewhere next week I really hope she comes on her own but yeah that's not up to me unfortunately we'll see
