Hesitant about which stroller we should get now

Hi ladies,

We just can't figure out which stroller to buy.
Here's the thing: for our D-Jay we had a Mutsy Transporter, super convenient to fold and easy to transport in the car.
But unfortunately the chassis has died, so we're looking for another stroller.
We've looked around here and there, and I still have the travel cot that came with that Transporter—it's basically brand new.
But if I'm being completely honest, they hardly ever use it.
At least not at our place, unless we're visiting someone and I put the little one in it while she's sleeping.
Then we run into the problem that with most strollers my husband can't walk behind it because he's almost 2 meters tall and incredibly broad; I'm like a Smurf next to him haha, and he ends up kicking the stroller with his shins. Or the push handle is too low.
Help, because we're really at a loss. I've seen several nice ones, but how expensive are these things, seriously, pff.
I'm also looking on Marktplaats, but I find it really difficult.
What experiences do you all have with strollers?

Love, Renate74

    Hi dear Renate.

We bought a Chicco stroller here "got it from grandpa" it's a trio living comfort there are so many different ones. And ours comes with the carrycot, the Maxicosi and the buggy itself which you can also click off and use as a stroller thanks to the base for our isofix in the car. It also came with various little things like a rain cover, a shrinking cushion, a shopping bag. We can also adjust the handlebar height. Now we bought it right during the sales and paid 600 euros. It was originally 1100 euros "also because a newer model came out with so much discount on it" but I think it's a beautiful stroller. If you want I'll take a photo of it on Monday and put it online. I'm also still doing our room so I'm now ironing all the sheets etc so I can make up our little bed nicely with our koeka blanket later or tomorrow :-)

We have a Bugaboo and you can adjust the push handle yourself, so it can be quite high and you don't kick the frame. I really think it's a great stroller that rides smoothly and you can also turn the buggy seat towards you in different positions. Lovely stroller!

We went for the Maxi-Cosi Mura 4. It won't be delivered until mid-Feb 2013, so we don't know how it rolls outside yet, but in the store it rolled very smoothly.
We did hesitate for a while between the MC and the Mutsy 4 Rider, but we ultimately chose the MC because it folds up smaller.

We have the black iCandy Peach.
Soon I'll have the gray one too.
Nice. And at least not a lot of people are using it.
    Easy to use.

We went with the Jools Day because the basket (so to speak) is a bit higher than on the Bugaboo. I was able to exchange the bassinet for a Maxi-Cosi, which is ideal.
My boyfriend is also 2.07 tall and can walk behind it comfortably without it hitting the frame.
It is a pricey stroller, but for us it’s still a super little thing, very easy to fold and rides really smoothly.
    Good luck..

I have a Baninni AYO myself and am super happy with it!
It drives really well, has nice features, and is easy to fold. You also get a mattress with it. Super handy, definitely a recommendation!
