I'm 32 weeks now but suddenly feeling really nauseous again. Does anyone else have this? Sometimes I even have to vomit. Is that okay for our little one?

Greetings, Rosa

I think that’s because your stomach has less space due to your growing belly, so the valve between your stomach and esophagus doesn’t close properly anymore, which means you’re getting more and more heartburn. You can take Gaviscon, and it works really well. Ginger (tea) also helps. Feel better soon!

By the way, I found that taking a tablespoon of uncooked oatmeal really helped. It absorbs stomach acid, so you don't feel nauseous from it.

Hi Rosa, same here, girl!! I'm also around 32 weeks and last night I really felt our baby turn.. Since then I've had a lot of heartburn, can eat less, and have a bumpy feeling in my stomach.. I haven't had to throw up yet luckily.. but it doesn't help much anyway.. the little one is just lying there with its feet against the stomach probably and as Iza says our stomach gets less space because our uterus is expanding even more and our baby is getting bigger...

Good luck with this annoying ailment, girl...
A tip: I now eat small portions and multiple times a day so my stomach is definitely not empty but also not too full and that does help I have to say!

    Love

I also have a nauseous feeling, lots of heartburn and I'm stocking up on Rennies.
They work great for me, I immediately bought a family pack.

Especially at night I wake up thinking I need to vomit, quickly sit down, take a Rennie and I can sleep again.

I don't think it's harmful to your baby, although it does depend on how much you vomit, if you're vomiting a lot you should watch out for dehydration of course.

Strength, girl, unfortunately you're not alone!!

    Kind regards, Dani

Oh, I didn’t know at all that you were allowed to take Rennies or whatever?
    Well, good to know..

According to some, you can take rennies, and others say no... I know that you can definitely take Gaviscon during your pregnancy.

    Hi,

I also had issues with nausea, heartburn, and occasional vomiting. It started for me around 27 weeks. There are various tablets you can take for this (see the package leaflet). I guess Kruitvat made a good profit from it, haha. You can also place an extra pillow under your head when sleeping. If your head is just a bit higher, it can make a difference.

Now that the baby is dropping, it’s getting better. But I still sleep on two pillows.

    Love,
    Anne

    Hi,
I’m also struggling with this feeling. Dani has shares in the Rennie’s. I’ve been using Gaviscon for it.
I’ve had this for a while now, yeah, the stomach doesn’t have much space.

    Long live the tablets hahaha

It's really awful here with this heartburn bleh.....
I sleep so poorly at night because of it, waking up nauseous and having to force myself to swallow a pill, then having such a nasty taste from them in the morning.
But I'm starting to almost like them hihi.

Well, it's for a good cause and I can sleep nicely during the day now, so I'll just do that.

Nice, those shares!!! The shops make good money off us pregnant women

Oops, Tammi. Gaviscon isn't a tablet, it's a liquid. And by the way, shops don't have shares in the babies. That's quite a misunderstanding, funny. Anne, that extra cushion tip is good for helping to hold back reflux. But if you're unsure, just call your GP or midwife for the right medication.
