Breech presentation

Hey ladies.
I'm 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant..
And our baby has been in a breech position for over 4-5 months already. Bottom down and legs up along the face. Had a check-up with the midwife yesterday and they referred us to the hospital since it's getting difficult for the little one to turn on their own anymore. So tomorrow I'll have a talk with the OB-GYN. They mentioned an external cephalic version (ECV) .. anyone here has experience with that? We're not really looking forward to it. Especially since I also have a marginal placenta (which is rare).
Best wishes???????????

Sounds really tough, but I don't have experience with it. Once your baby is born, I'd make an appointment with an osteopath right away! Babies often have a lot of trouble with their bottom since they've been curled up in there for so long... Hang in there!

We went to the gynecologist and decided not to turn. I don't feel right about it, so I'm not going to do it. Our baby will be delivered via C-section, unless she turns on her own, but that's unlikely since she's in a breech position. That's right, Anna, when our baby is 6 weeks old, we have to go for the hip check too, since she was indeed in a breech position. Exciting, we'll wait and see.
