Hi ladies,

I just got the letter from the midwife and my baby's size is now measured as small for 36 weeks. The measurement has been the same for 4 weeks now, and even then it was already right on the edge.

Now I've been referred for a growth scan, and I have that on Tuesday.

I'm really anxious that something might be wrong. Does anyone have experience or knowledge about this?

    Hi Katie, that sucks that they sent you home so early, but don't worry, it doesn't mean everything's wrong, girl!
    My girl was at the bottom of the growth chart, even below, but no big deal, she's back within the margins now!
    But I'm curious what they say, let us know!

    My son had a growth restriction for 2 weeks as well...he was also small, 2200 grams and 45 cm at full term!
    He made it though...But girl, you should see him now;-)
    Don't worry too much, girl! Who knows, it might turn out to be not so bad after all..
    With him they said he had short legs..
    My belly was also very small and the midwife referred me then too...
    With my daughter it was the same but at birth nothing to worry about, 3115 grams and 51 cm...so regarding that growth restriction, it barely matched up there..
    Just wait and see, girl...they often measure the belly etc. too...
    Strength!

    I don't have any experience with this, but I'm rooting for a good result!!
