my belly button

Ladies, do you recognize this?

My belly button hasn't popped out yet (to put it that way), but it still hurts quite a bit, and there's occasional pain around it too. When I press on the skin around my navel, it's not too bad, but I still feel some irritation. It's not red or swollen, but I'm wondering if this is normal?

Hi, yeah, that's part of it. Not everyone's belly button pops out, but it can get tender due to the pressure.

Yeah, not everyone's belly button comes out! Mine didn't either. But he's really tense, yeah! Just rub some lotion on your tummy, maybe that'll bring some relief!

Here at 20 weeks and he's already sticking out (no face:-P) haha
The kids saw it and really had to touch it, like huh...;-)
Otherwise, I don't have any tension or anything yet...
Definitely good to keep it lubricated and supple, maybe that helps!:-)

My mom made sure our navels are tucked in (innie instead of outie) by gently pressing on it or even placing a coin on it every time we changed diapers or had a bath.

Thanks to that, we all have pretty navels and I didn't end up with that weird bulgy outie

I guess I'll do the same myself..

@OliviaAnna... I also have a nice belly button, I also have a real little "pit" there, haha...
But during my pregnancies, my belly button pops out... and after giving birth, I just have a nice deep belly button again ;-)

Oh yes, of course, you can also have a nice belly button naturally.
I guess my mom just didn't take any risks, haha..
It supposedly works well against belly button infections!!

I also notice it when I stand up or something. And it's very soft, like a different kind of skin now.
