Constipation

Hi!
I’m 32 weeks pregnant and struggling with really difficult constipation... I’ve tried everything: eating kiwis and nuts, drinking lots of water, taking Roosvicee laxative, staying active. But still, sometimes it takes two days to go, and then it’s completely messed up again... I get hard bloating from my “full” bowels, which makes me feel the baby moving less. Really annoying! Does anyone have a tip or know of a laxative that’s safe to use during pregnancy?

Moving around a lot helps me. And eating prunes, optionally soaked in some lukewarm/warm water. I'd ask the pharmacist/pharmacy/GP about laxatives.

Why don't you ask your doctor for those sachets that don't dissolve in water? They work perfectly for me.

Good morning, I also have experience with severe constipation here.
You can get colon clean at the pharmacy. It's a jar with fibers that you can take with water or, for example, orange juice. It really helped me. My doctor prescribed this during my pregnancy. After 1 or 2 days, I could go to the toilet fairly normally, and that was such a relief, I tell you! Good luck with the final stretch!
