which mattress

Hi there,
we're torn between a pocket spring mattress and a cold foam mattress, both with an Aerosleep protector.
Do you have any tips or pros/cons for either option?
Thanks in advance!

Here you can find advice on mattresses for babies

Tip: Airosleep is not recommended for the crib due to the risk of overheating the baby. If you're considering buying it for that purpose, make sure to research thoroughly and decide whether or not to purchase it after reading up.
I really wanted one of those; but we ended up not getting it. We went with the IKEA mattress for the crib. It just barely missed being number 3 in the Consumentenbond test.

Our maternity nurse recommended an Ikea mattress during the intake. Ikea just launched a new line of crib mattresses. We went for the pocket spring one, which is a bit more expensive (€89.99), but the foam ones are available for €69.99 or €39.99. Those are fine too. Plus, it has a removable cover, which I thought was a plus.

We were able to borrow the crib including the mattress. It came with an aerosleep pad, but I don't think I'll use it. If you're using cradle boards, the pad isn't allowed either.

    Good luck with your choice!
