What do you eat in a day?

Hi ladies, I was wondering what you guys eat on average in a day. And then broken down into
-morning-afternoon-evening meals
so including snacks, treats, sandwiches, salads... dinner plate, dessert etc... I'm really curious about that. And whether it's also really much more than what you normally eat (?) I know this varies per person so I hope I get a lot of replies. Oh and also whether you eat at night... I know people who wake up at night from hunger (during pregnancy)
Thanks.

I usually eat the following and I'm at 31 weeks, but I'm eating nothing more or less than when I was 12 weeks pregnant. Before I was pregnant, I didn't really eat much less either, maybe one less sandwich or one less yogurt and a bit more movement because that's really over now due to hard contractions.

    Morning:
    Cruesli with milk
    Yogurt
    Around 11 am (snack)
fruit and sometimes another yogurt or a sandwich with cheese

    In the afternoon (lunch)
3 sandwiches (peanut butter or cheese or whatever!)
    An oatcake
    Yogurt

    Dinner
plate of dinner (not as much as usual) varies from rice with chicken and beans, or spaghetti or
    potatoes with meat and vegetables
Very occasionally a piece of chocolate later in the evening or yogurt but sometimes nothing more
This is about average! I can also eat one more sandwich or one less sandwich on a day. Or another cornetto ice cream as a snack (on average I do this 2x per week)
I'm moving much less since 2 weeks ago. Previously: gym 2 or 3 times a week for 1.5 hours. and lots of walking to the station (every day 3 quarters in total)

I do eat a bit more than before, and by that I mean my portions are a bit bigger. Although I try to make up for it by eating more veggies during the day, I do sometimes snack at night now, which I didn't used to do.
I'm 37 weeks and have gained 10kg now.

    Breakfast: muesli with skim milk
Late morning: a pot of yogurt or soy pudding and a piece of fruit
Lunch: 1 slice of bread with a box of cherry tomatoes and cucumber
or a sandwich without veggies (toxoplasmosis) with chicken.
Afternoon: 1 or 2 pieces of fruit
Dinner: potatoes, meat or fish and veggies.
Evening: a piece of chocolate or a cornetto or a cookie or...

Hi Olivia Anna, if I read both of the "Anonymous" posts, they both eat vegetables... I don't know where you read that they don't eat vegetables?

A double-decker sandwich, huh? So 2 slices of a big loaf

I don't see where I said I don't eat vegetables? I eat plenty... I meant that what I'm eating more of now for dinner, I try to do with vegetables instead of a double portion of meat. Seems like a good idea...?
I know very well how important vitamins are

Anonymous above Katie "uncovered sandwich without? vegetables (toxoplasmosis)"
Everyone has their own thing, but I personally don't think that's smart..

I didn't mean it at you though ..

    Hi Olivia!
Just curious, what do you usually eat for lunch on an average day?
  8. Olivia-Anna #9

The leftovers from the previous day's dinner!! Haha..

Otherwise something like a sandwich, quiche, or a salad (I can never get enough of that!!) Vegetable soup or soup in general, or then again pancakes, lots of fruit salad. But then I'm not a bread eater anymore, so now I made an apple and raisin bread pudding.. I really love that! I love cooking and baking.. Everything always fresh..

When I look at it like this, it seems like a lot, but it's only recently that I no longer have to force myself to eat. I used to eat really little..

I'm not allowed to eat raw veggies unless I've washed them myself, since I'm not immune to toxoplasmosis. I do make sure to eat my veggies in the evening, prepared by me...
Or like I wrote, cherry tomatoes or something like that as a snack, which I wash myself.
Not smart?! Seems like good sense to follow the advice of the gynecologist! I'd rather not take the risk of getting infected.

Does anyone know if it's okay to eat rabbit meat during pregnancy? I can't find it anywhere.
  11. Anonymous Guest #12

Seems to me that's fine as long as it's thoroughly cooked. Raw meat is not allowed.

I recently came across this recipe website and it has some nice, easy meals. All healthy and babyproof

Just whatever's left from the day before. I often put on my glasses to check if it's spoiled or if it doesn't smell right anymore..
