Text too early born

Hi! There's a good chance our little girl will be born early. So we've got this text ready: "Want to... take a look? Give us a call, otherwise she might be sleeping. Does anyone have a cute idea for when she's born early? Because she'll most likely end up in an incubator, and then no visitors are allowed. And there's not much space on the birth announcement, so keep it short and sweet."

I'm reading along with you, hoping for you and me that they stay put until they're ready to be born, but you never know! I only saw on the card: x is staying in the hospital, and then sometimes that there will be a baby shower or a request for a call for visitors.

I once received this on a card:

    Overwhelmed but so happy
    I was there early!
    I like visitors
But I'm still a bit small
I'm staying in the hospital for a little while
    Hopefully, I'll be home soon!
Dad and mom will let you know
If you come, we'll have toast!

Not short and sweet, but lovely.

You could also say something like 'come admire once we're home! It's nice to call beforehand.'

    Or this could also work

    Hello everyone,
    As fast as a train
I wanted to be on this earth.
Because I was so eager to come,
I'll have to live in an incubator for a while.

Hey, what a stressful time for you! How far along are you now? Can't you share your concerns with your OB-GYN?

Exciting times, mama2. Hopefully, your girl will still grow... Let me know when your daughter is born... and how you and she are doing....

I'm thinking. Should I keep the original text on the birth card or adjust it? Because we're braving the world a bit too early, we still need to stay in the hospital for a while?
