Sore legs and feet, can't sleep because of it.

Hi everyone!

I'm now 40 weeks pregnant and have been waking up with sore legs for a while now. It hurts the most in my left leg when I lie on my left side, and in my right leg when I lie on my right side. My legs have really gotten thicker due to the fluid retention—could that be causing this? For the past week, I haven't been sleeping at all, or if I do manage a nap, it's barely 10 minutes. I have to keep switching sides because the pain wakes me up, and sleeping on my back is no longer an option either; I start feeling short of breath. My feet are starting to hurt too. I'm absolutely exhausted. Does anyone recognize this? Does anyone know what it is and what I can do??

Best,

Just pop by the osteopath; they can probably help a lot with gentle movements.
    Good luck with that!

I had that too, but luckily I'm sleeping normally again. But the pain in my pelvis or hips is unbearable. For me, sleeping half on my side helps, with a nursing pillow behind my back, and then I turn half onto the pillow so my upper body is on its side and my pelvis is straight. Complicated, haha, but least painful.
