breasts leaking

When did you start getting colostrum from your breasts?
I've had some discharge for a while, but for the past 2 weeks it's been thick yellow stuff. Rowan

    37 weeks and no colostrum yet.

    Some women start producing it during pregnancy. Others only after the baby is born. I suspect it’ll be the latter for me.

    Hi Ju.
    I'm over 30 weeks.
    Only there's been quite some confusion because I was originally due on December 25th, but now it's between the beginning and November 26th.

    That's quite strange. If I were you, I'd call the UK and ask what they say about it.
    Seems a bit early to me. I'm also over 30 weeks and haven't had that yet, not even in previous pregnancies.
    Let me know how it goes and what the result is. By the way, I think it's quite a difference. 25 Dec vs 26 Nov – that's almost 4 weeks apart. Just keep a close eye on it.

    ?r indeed has a big difference and our guess is that our girl will surprise us.
    I have to do an ultrasound and blood test on Wednesday, so I'll ask right away.
    Also, she's been low for a while and in the same position.!? I'll update when I know more, will do:-)

    I've had this since week 24! Colostrum is the first food for your baby! It can't do any harm!

    Oh, I hope not yet!
    But I’ve been having something like false contractions since Sunday, so...
    But I hope the little girl stays cozy in there for a few more weeks!

    Yeah, I'm new to this too.
    I'm only 22 and it was very unexpected.
    I'd actually love for my girl to come
    I often forget I'm even pregnant because my belly is pretty small
    and I don't have any discomfort at all.
    She sometimes kicks so much that I think she's coming out through my belly.
    And then I remember I've got a little noisy kicker in there.
    I'm just taking it easy and waiting.

    I was just worried because nothing was coming out of my breasts.. (Now 29 weeks pregnant)
    I really wanted to breastfeed and got a bit worried: ermm:,
    until a week ago:
    I had already bought a pump to get rid of excess milk and was looking at how it worked :
    To my great surprise and relief, some milk came out!!

    Haha, luckily, but unfortunately, it doesn't say anything about the content or if there's any added nutrition in it.
    I'd also like to breastfeed and if it's not enough, give a bottle as well.

    I have to say, during this pregnancy I haven't had any issues with it. Sometimes I get the feeling that it's leaking, but it turns out it's not. With my previous pregnancies, I did have that issue.
