37 weeks pregnant

Hi ladies,
Today I am exactly 37 weeks pregnant, and this pregnancy is really breaking me down. I've gained 14 kg now, some say that's a lot. But I think this is fairly normal, right? I can't sleep at night, I'm constantly nauseous again, and I have severe menstrual-like cramps. And sometimes I also have mucus in my discharge. Could these be signs of labor? This has been going on for about a week now.
Please help a mommy to be out, I'm so tired I can't hold out for another 4 weeks

    Hey,
Hang in there for just a little longer! You can do it! I totally relate to this! I also get occasional MS pain and sleep terribly—I can't find a comfortable position anymore. So I'm looking forward to the birth too.
I have no idea if this is a sign that you're about to give birth. I also had a lot of mucus discharge and MS pain, and they told me it was engagement contractions... But that's a good sign too, right!
My baby still has a bit more time to stay put, because I'm not quite ready yet—well, almost, but not completely. Starting next week it can happen, but not this week!
    Good luck!!!

Hi, I'm also 37 weeks and 2 days. I'm already counting down the days. I can barely sleep, I have a lot of heartburn, and eating is almost impossible. But well, just a little more patience. What I really want to say is: hang in there, you're almost there. It doesn't feel like it, but the end is in sight. Who knows, you might give birth in the next few days.

I'm also 37 weeks today. And like you, I've gained 14 kg, and I'm not happy about it at all, but oh well, it is what it is...
I have the feeling the baby hasn't dropped at all . My belly isn't hanging low, and besides (sometimes painful) hardening of the belly, I don't have any Braxton Hicks contractions. I also still feel the baby kicking pretty high against my stomach and ribs.
We've had a lot of discharge for three days now... I even thought once that my water had broken! A lot of fluid came out (it felt like that), but in the end it felt more mucus-like. We have an ultrasound on Thursday. I'm so curious!!
The constant hunger has also settled down a bit, and like you, I'm getting tired faster. I mainly have ongoing shortness of breath. I even get out of breath just washing the dishes.

14 kilos at 37 weeks? Hihi, I'd sign up for that! At almost 36 weeks, I've already gained 20 kilos. Everyone around me says, "You must not have gained much at all." Well, yes, I have!
