Hi! I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant but haven't started dilating yet. Does anyone have any idea how quickly that might change? Has anyone had experience with this?

You only start dilating when labor begins. Apparently, you still have a little while to go. Once you start dilating, you'll usually have a baby in your arms within a day

Thank you for your response, Biensie! Today I feel sick. Very emotional, headache, really dizzy and tired, stomach ache, and waves of pain in my lower back.
I'm curious. Somewhere deep down, my gut says the birth will start any day now. But I hope it doesn't happen soon and try to assume it'll still take some time.
