How many hard contractions?

I think it doesn't matter that much how many hard contractions you have as long as they don't hurt. If you're worried anyway, maybe give your gynecologist a call for a check-up? I did that too when I was 34 weeks pregnant (I did have slight pain with the hard contractions) and it turned out I had a shortened cervix. Often, hard contractions are also a sign that you've done a bit too much during the day, so try to rest a bit more.

I've also been having really strong contractions for a long time. At 32 weeks, I had bleeding and the monitor showed that my uterus was indeed very irritable. So I got some medication for a few weeks.

Now I'm 37 weeks and still having hard contractions. I think you just have to accept it. But I do recommend checking your cervix and amniotic fluid levels, and monitoring the contractions on the monitor.
