Hi, I just want to share my story. I'm 22 and got pregnant intentionally with my partner. But things haven't been going smoothly. First 3 months: constant vomiting, lost 3 kilos, 5 nosebleeds, bleeding in between, dizziness. Lots of back, stomach and head pain. Then it got better for a few weeks until around 15 weeks when I started getting protein in my urine every week and had extra blood pressure checks. 20-week scan was fine. Got breathing problems, shortness of breath, heartburn, fluid retention, couldn't sleep... emotionally all over the place. Now 33 weeks and dealing with severe pelvic instability, so bad that sometimes I can't walk or even get up from the toilet on my own. I'm just wondering how I'll get through the last 7 weeks. Any tips?

Oh Meis, it's like I'm reading my own story! Shall we get in touch via PM?

That's good, I've created an account, I don't really know how it works here yet.

Yay, congratulations! How many weeks were you when you gave birth? And what did you end up with?

That's so nice! Glad you gave birth on time.
I'm 36 weeks now and have been home for weeks due to low blood pressure and contractions. I feel really awful and can't enjoy the pregnancy at all. So I'd love for him to come now.
Congratulations on your son! Enjoy it! I hope everything is going well for you.

Oh, what a mess. Have you already discussed things to induce labor? High blood pressure can be dangerous, right? With the little one, everything is super. Mama, I have a bit less... I had a uterine infection last week that was already treated, but it's not completely gone. Hopefully, I'll be referred to the gynecologist on Monday to have ultrasounds done....

Yeah, but I don’t have high blood pressure, but low blood pressure, and that’s not dangerous.
It’s just really annoying because I hardly dare to do the groceries alone due to fainting spells.
I hadn’t heard of uterine infection before. Do you know how you get that?
    Do you get antibiotics then?
    Sounds really unpleasant!!

Oh sorry, I read it wrong. Are you also very dizzy and stuff? That's right, you hardly ever hear about it anymore. In the past, it was the number one cause of death around childbirth. Luckily, you now indeed get antibiotics, but as soon as I stop, the complaints come back, so something else needs to be done... I'm curious how it will go from here. Have you tried those home remedies yet, like eating salty licorice and stuff?

Hmm, hope you're feeling better soon!!
Yeah, fainting... Tried everything, but I just have to sit down in time. Luckily, I can feel it right away when my blood pressure drops, so I can usually avoid going down!
Good luck with your little miracle and get well soon!
