Yellow discharge from nipple

Hi there,

I just had some dried fluid on my nipple. I pressed on it to remove it properly, and then some yellowish fluid came out.
Is it harmful if this is happening already?
I'm 28 weeks pregnant. I'm wondering if this might complicate breastfeeding after the birth.

    Hi!
    I had that too!
    It's completely normal.
Your body is getting ready to start breastfeeding soon!
You get those breast pads so your bra doesn't get wet. It actually gets worse (at least for me).

    Yes, I did/have too!
I think even a little bit earlier. The first breast milk is of this color, colostrum.
I also used pads on the heavier days, but often a folded tissue is enough for me too

I've had this for a few weeks too. Not so extreme that I need to use tissues or pads. Just squeeze hard once and it stays dry all day.
