Anti-D shot

Hi everyone,
I'm new here, not sure if I'm doing this right.. But I have a question.
I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my second child. I have blood group A- and my partner is O+. During my first pregnancy, no antibodies were found. This would mean that my 1-year-old son has a negative blood group. However, antibodies have now been detected, and I received the anti-D injection yesterday. I got the shot in my thigh muscle, and it didn't seem to be a big deal (even though I'm not really a fan of needles). They told me I might experience some discomfort when walking. I noticed nothing at all. However, since last night, I've been having a massive headache. Like, really extreme. The advice from my GP was to take paracetamol. I just did, and it's not helping at all. Does anyone here have experience with this? Is this normal? How long can this last? I'm definitely not exaggerating, but this is such a severe and especially strange headache.
Thanks in advance

Best regards!

I had that shot too and didn’t have any issues afterward.
Paracetamol always takes a little while to kick in, you know.
If that weird headache keeps going on, make sure to get in touch with your midwife. It could also be a sign of pre-eclampsia.

Thanks so much, Amy, for your reply. I did reach out last night, and they did ask about my blood pressure. It's just around 124/76 or something like that, so not too high. I don't want to come across as a hypochondriac or anything, but this feeling is so intense. I'm going through my OB-GYN, and unfortunately, the hospital isn't as accessible as a midwife is It's really tough.. I also don't know anyone who's ever had this shot
