What size?

Hi everyone,
I'm now 35 weeks pregnant with our first little miracle.
I've got a size 50/56 maillot ready for when she's born. However, it seems quite roomy (from the prenatal range). I've also read online that you're better off taking a 44/50 for a newborn.
Does any of you have experience with this?

    My little one weighed 8.5 pounds at birth and fit perfectly in the 50/56 size maillot. You can always buy a size smaller once they're born. It's a shame to buy onesies that might already be too small right after birth.
