Hi everyone,
Just an update from me to get things off my chest. Last Monday I had a check-up (30 weeks) at the hospital (I was admitted due to known high blood pressure). During this visit, my blood pressure was found to be too high, and there was concern about pre-eclampsia. Fortunately, it wasn’t that serious, and I was allowed to go home, but unfortunately, I have to stop working. Today I spoke with the UWV (Dutch Social Security Agency), and they were very understanding. Have other people had to stop working earlier? I would have liked to keep working, but now I need to think about myself and our little one.
Love,

With my first pregnancy, I had to stop at 25 weeks due to complications during my pregnancy and procedures they had to perform on my little one in the womb already. This increased the risk of early birth, so I had to stay at home and could only walk to the bathroom and the fridge for drinks and food. I had to rest more, which I found really hard because I don't like sitting still. But it was all for the greater good.

Yes, I stopped working during my second pregnancy at 24 weeks due to pelvic pain!
All sorted out, spent a solid 7 months at home, lovely!
