After not seeing anything on my belly for a long time, two weeks ago they appeared despite all the rubbing: stretch marks on the lower part of my belly and a small one around my navel . I'm now 32 weeks.
It's not too bad yet, not that big.
But now my question (to the experienced moms) is how did your stretch marks evolve if you had them?
I'm afraid that because my belly still has so much growing to do, they'll become super big... do they grow/tear along with it? Or is there a chance they'll stay 'modest'?

Hmm, I was also slathering on cream... and still got them. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it. The midwife told me then that the skin tears subcutaneously, so applying cream to the surface doesn't really make much difference. And that you're more likely to get stretch marks when you're younger because your skin is still tight.

Eventually, after you've given birth and gotten a little sun, they do fade a bit. They'll never completely disappear, unfortunately. But you get something beautiful in return.
