Menstrual cramps and back pain

Hi moms/mom-to-be,

According to the midwife, I'm 30.5 weeks pregnant, but according to myself, I'm 33.5 weeks pregnant.

I've always been about 3 weeks ahead of everyone else, which fits perfectly with my conception in November.

That said, since Sunday night I've been having period-like abdominal and back pain.

Last week the baby was already head-down (center-left), but now it feels like the baby has dropped, because there's pressure in the lower middle area and I can feel something lying there since today (so conveniently put, under my pubic hair).

Other than that, I'm doing fine. Only this menstrual pain is still there.

Is this something to worry about, or does it just sound "normal" to you guys??

The baby is acting/doing normally otherwise, and I'm feeling fine too....

Maybe it's because your uterus is growing? Does your midwife know about your pain? If not, contact her again—she's there for that.

No, she doesn't know about that. Since today it's less and the baby is active for longer periods again.
