White loss & hard bellies

Hi ladies,
I'm just 35 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing more white discharge and hardening of the belly over the past few days.
I've heard that this means my body is preparing for labor and that the little one will be here soon. Is that true?
Because I only start maternity leave in two weeks... I guess I might have to go earlier than planned .

Thanks in advance, it's making me a bit worried.

    What is vaginal discharge?

Leukorrhea is a colorless to whitish discharge from the vagina. Also known as vaginal discharge.

In that case, I would have given birth at 15 weeks already
Every body is different and does things in its own way. Tightening contractions are more common towards the end of pregnancy (but not always), but that’s not a criterion for going into labor early either.
Listen, feel, and pay attention to what your body is telling you. Take it easier if you’re experiencing a lot of tightening contractions. Don’t worry if your body doesn’t follow the book exactly. As long as your baby is growing and moving, you can assume that your body knows exactly what it’s doing.
