33 weeks and baby is lying sideways

Hi everyone,

During the check-up yesterday, they saw that the baby is in a transverse position (i.e., sideways).
She should still have a quarter of an hour to turn into a good position.

Since she's ahead in terms of size and weight, she should have another week to turn properly.

Has anyone else had their baby turn into a good position?

I'm getting a bit worried... otherwise, they'll try to manually turn the baby... if that doesn't work or isn't possible, it'll be a C-section...

Cheers, V

    Hi,

I was almost 37 weeks and she turned around at 35 weeks! She was also breech and definitely not a tiny baby, so there's still a good chance! At 35 weeks she was in the right position and had already dropped a bit, plus some dilation...

I did sit on my knees several times a day when she was active, leaning on my arms and pushing my bottom up... Not sure if that made a difference...

    Good luck,
    D.
