Until when are you still driving the car?

Do you guys stop driving at some point, or do you keep going until your belly really doesn't fit behind the steering wheel anymore?
I find it getting pretty uncomfortable to drive long distances. I also get a bit of pain in my right diaphragm. Do you guys have that too?

Well, I was wondering that too, how far along are you now?

Hey Linda, I'm 34 weeks and already have quite a big belly for my scooter :-)

Do you also get that pain in your diaphragm when driving the car?

Oww, I'm only 18 weeks, but I was wondering how long you can keep this up. But if you're already 32 weeks, you're doing well, only the long stretches seem tough to me. They also say your concentration goes down, and I'm already noticing that a bit, actually.

I think that was just a midwife chat :-) I'm mostly just in the way with my belly. Concentration isn't a problem here.

During my first pregnancy, I drove until 36 weeks... I drove to the hospital for a check-up and had to stay until after my delivery... Otherwise, I would have just kept driving... My sister drove in her first pregnancy until past 41 weeks...

There's no such thing as concentration during pregnancy... But do what feels right for you...

MM, I think it's coming on for me because I'm so tired. Anyway, I'm curious how long you'll keep it up. I think it's really impressive that you're still driving at 32 weeks, and I hope I can do the same.

During my first pregnancy, I even drove myself to the hospital on the day I gave birth. Hopefully, I can manage to do it for just as long this time!

    Hi ladies,
In my previous pregnancy, I drove myself until even 42 weeks. Now I drive a lot less because of the loss of concentration (seriously, this is NOT old wives' tales!!!!). I'll still do short trips for sure, but I avoid long distances now. I don't want to cause any accidents, not for myself and my baby, but also not for other road users. And believe me, this is really not old wives' tales. I'm a sales rep, so I'm always on the road for work... but those long distances just aren't happening anymore, despite my horn... because it doesn't hinder me!
The most important thing is that you sit behind the wheel with confidence and concentration.

    Good luck!

I drove until my due date, but I noticed I wasn't paying as much attention while driving anymore.

Hi! I drove the whole pregnancy, so it really depends on how much discomfort you're experiencing.

    Greetings...

    Hey!

Last pregnancy I also drove until the end.
Now I'm 37 weeks pregnant and don't have any discomfort while driving.

I'm 40 weeks pregnant now and still drove myself to the hospital because I had no one else to go with, so I had to.
It wasn't exactly fun, but if it has to be, then it has to be.

Hi, I'll just keep driving until the very end, just a bit less...
It went well during my first pregnancy too.
You do have to be careful though, because this morning I was distracted and ended up hitting the curb. So it was a wake-up call that I really need to focus only on driving and not do anything else.
    Greetings
